There are many wonderful lakes and rivers within a short drive of Stowe; Lake Elmore, easily accessible with a state campground and beach; Green River Reservoir, pristine and undeveloped; Lamoille and Winooski Rivers, wide, winding through farm and forested countryside.

Tours are available. Please call ahead and make reservations. Transportation of boats must be arranged on river trips.
