The original Bedside Tuners was founded in 1984, and for the past 36 years, our commitment to service has never wavered. Moving through the decades, the business evolved into what is currently Pinnacle Ski and Sports, encompassing Inner Bootworks and SkiEssentials.com. From demos and rentals to retail and online, our product and service offerings, as well as our enthusiasm of the outdoor community, continues to improve.
Now in our new location on Mountain Road, we’ve got a brand-new Wintersteiger ski tuning machine and a full-service bike shop to help us get to the next level. We carry the latest brands of clothing and the newest hard good technology in the sport of skiing. We’re more than happy to help you find that perfect helmet and goggle combination to go along with your outfit, and our rental and demo staff are here to get you out on the hill quickly and easily. Here at SkiEssentials.com, we like to think of ourselves as your local shop online. Our motto is “Gear for Skiers by Skiers” and we live right up to it. We’re only a phone call or a few clicks away, so for any questions or to place an order, drop us a line and talk to a skier.
We started about ten years ago in the office of Pinnacle Ski and Sports, just getting rid of some older gear on ebay and we haven’t looked back since. We’ve grown not only regarding products and services, but also in our online content and editorial department.
SkiEssentials.com runs an annual ski test that we publish on our site, offering unique and unbiased reviews and information on this year’s skis. In addition, we create in-depth reviews of popular models and products, all with the intention of helping you get in the right gear for you.
In addition to low prices on current ski gear, we’re also big into closeout items, and this gives us the ability to sell previous season’s equipment for heavily discounted prices. STOWE SNOW REPORT
Daily Weather Reports from Skiers
Over the past two seasons, we’ve developed a daily snow and terrain conditions report available on the Instagram account @stowesnowreport. Last year, we had a report from every operational day here at Stowe Mountain Resort, as well as Nordic and Winter Bike trail reports when available. Rain, snow, or cold, we’re out there on the hill giving you an accurate (for better or worse) report on what’s good (or not) on the hill. We’ve developed a nice following, and we invite you to join us this winter out on the hill!
